– What is a ‘chronic’ case?
Chronic cases have a history of more than 3 weeks where the complaint has been persistent. You might have had prior treatments and medical records with other health care professionals if you have a chronic case.
– What is an ‘acute’ case?
An acute case has a history of less than 3 weeks where the complaint has only persisted for 3-4 days.
– Why is it important that I book according to my case?
It is important that you book according to your case so that the consultation is long enough for Dr. Sam to analyse your condition and prepare your treatment plan. Due to the complexity of chronic cases, it would take more time to assess and understand the problem during the initial case taking and assessment.
Chronic complaints take longer to assess and understand while an acute case would take a comparatively shorter time.
